SOILGOLD
City Compost Granules — Bulk organic matter for soils run on chemical fertiliser alone for years. It is not a nutrient product — the FCO asks only 1.2% of N, P and K together — it is a carbon product. What it changes is structure and water holding, so the same irrigation goes further and the fertiliser you do apply stays where the roots are.

FCO Schedule IV: moisture 15-25%, dark brown to black, no foul odour, minimum 90% through a 4.0 mm IS sieve, total organic carbon minimum 12%, N + P2O5 + K2O together minimum 1.2%, C:N under 20, pH 6.0-8.0, conductivity not more than 4.0 dS/m. Heavy metals capped at As 10, Cd 5, Cr 50, Cu 300, Hg 0.15, Ni 50, Pb 100 and Zn 1000 mg/kg.
The FCO sets composition and labelling, not application rate. The rate for this product should come from the state agriculture department or an agricultural university recommendation.
